How can you help make Long Island safer
for pedestrians and foot traffic?
That's what we asked students who entered our 2019
Pedestrian Education Video Scholarship Contest.
Check out this year's winning videos!
1st Place Winner: Olivia Vinson, Wantagh High School
2nd Place Winner: Morgan Flaherty, Wantagh High School
Videos were judged based on the submission's ability to communicate educational messages to Long Island pedestrians, as well as engage and connect with viewers from varied audience profiles. Winners were selected based on their submitted video as well as their answer to the question,"Why is it important to educate Long Islanders about pedestrian and traffic safety?"
